We offer on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration in New York City, Long Island, and western Connecticut area. Additionally, we offer mail-in repair services, including a complimentary repair evaluation. Our experienced team members are highly knowledgeable about all major microscope brands, including Olympus/Evident, Nikon, Leica, Zeiss, ACCU-SCOPE, Unitron, Motic, and more.

Our Preventive Maintenance Program includes:
‎ • Cleaning of all external optical and mechanical components
‎ • Removal of old lubrication and re-lubrication of the mechanical stage and sub-assemblies
‎ • Inspection, testing, and parfocal alignment of all objectives and eyepieces
‎ • Testing of all illumination systems for proper performance, with optional voltage testing
‎ • Application of a service label to each instrument with the service date and suggested next service date
‎ • Inventorying of all microscopes and compilation of written service reports, provided to the appropriate lab or biomedical manager.

Repairs and replacement parts can be provided at the time of service for an additional cost. Our service team will provide recommendations and a quotation before performing any additional repairs or using replacement parts. Microscope Source maintains an extensive inventory of replacement parts and consumables for all major brands. Loaner instruments are available if an instrument needs to be removed from your facility for repair at our workshop.
